Basic Info

Description

This release is a major update that breaks compatibility with previous ones. It is a re-design, that provides the look of a new software, and it brings new and more stable functionalities.

Ideally, this version should not yet been released, but it was done to move forward on the v2 releases. There still many features and improvements to be done.

Major changes

  • Support for Windows.
  • A new GUI that separates the playlists and the videos.
  • New keyboard shortcuts.
  • New columns for the videos (Rating, Size, Duration, etc...)
  • The possibility of sending files to the trash.
  • The possibility of renaming files.
  • A new format for the playlist files, that stores more information, and that it is more flexible to add improvements.
  • A much better implementation of a custom player by using the VLC events (pyVLC >= 3.0.2).
  • Tons of fixes & improvements.
  • Major Code quality, performance & structure changes.
  • Debug messages.
